First Impressions (30 April 2010)
First Impressions together with their valued co-sponsors hosted the May lunch at the exquisite Oakfield Farm in Muldersdrift on 30 April 2010.
A grand affair with a 'White Mischief' theme saw models showcase beautiful designs of well known South African designer JJ Schoeman, peace doves being released in the stunning gardens of Oakfield Farm and a horse carriage marking the arrival of JJ and TV personality Bridget Masinga. The Homestead was elegantly decorated by Unlimited Events Decor and a showcase of lights and sound was provided by MJ Event Gear.
Guests were treated to a delectable menu and entertainment by the Harpist Angel Amarillie, Jazz Assassins, Marilyn Taylor and Diski Dancers by My African Sky. Producer Warren Batchelor (InThaZone) and Actor/Presenter Graeme Richards were the programme directors and staging was provided by Joburg Set Co. The chosen charity was the Wet Nose Foundation and special guests appearances included some of our rescued fury friends, who enjoyed the company of the lovely models and all the attention.
Additional monies were raised through the auction whereby Actress and Celebrity Uyanda Mbuli modeled an exquisite gown donated by JJ. Many generous and kind contributions were donated to the charity, besides the R24,100.00 raised on the day - thank you. Guests enjoyed the rest of the afternoon and evening sipping on pina colado's and relaxing on the comfortable furniture provided by First Impressions, as well as dancing the night away to Divas on Deck.
A big thank you to all the other sponsors who made this day such a huge success. First Impressions look forward to seeing you all again next year!
