The Serengeti, is synonymous with the Boabab Tree, which is indigenous to many African countries, and is well known for its magical powers and symbolic values. Besides its functional use of providing food, water and shelter, the Masai people regard the Boabab Tree as a good meeting venue for social gatherings.
That is exactly what Serengeti Golf Club achieved when 143 Travelbags guests attended their sponsored luncheon on the 04 June 2010. They invited guests, colleagues and associates to experience the Serengeti with a distinctive taste of
The MC for the day was well known Celebrity and TV Personality, Liesl van der Westhuizen and the charity was C.U.D.D.L.E (Creche Upgrade, Development, Directives, Liason & Education) a social charity who does wonderful work in uplifting and improving creche facilities. An amount of R6,400.00 was raised through raffle sales and donated to them.
